📖 What is it
Formula Rodeo is the most social and dynamic format. Unlike other formats, standings here are INDIVIDUAL: each player changes partners every round, accumulating personal points. It's perfect for mixing levels and creating new friendships!
Ideal for: Social evenings, events where you want to mix participants, situations where players don't know each other well.
⚙️ How it works
A unique system that rewards the individual player:
- Players sign up individually (not as pairs)
- Each round, the system forms different pairs
- Play the round and record results
- Points are assigned individually to each player
- After all rounds, whoever has the most points wins!
🔄 Partner rotation
The rotation algorithm ensures:
- Every player changes partners each round
- Avoid (where possible) playing with the same partner again
- Balanced distribution across available courts
🏆 Scoring
Scoring is fully customizable:
- Points for win (default: 3)
- Points for draw (default: 1)
- Points for loss (default: 0)
🏅 Finals
Optionally you can enable finals: the top 4 players face off in a semifinal (1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd), then winners play the grand final.
