👥 Player Management
How do I add players to my center?
Go to "Players" from the menu. You can add them one by one with "New player" or import them in bulk from Excel/CSV.
What data is required for a player?
First name, last name and gender are required. Level (2-7), preferred side and hand (right/left) are optional but useful for automatic team generation.
How does Excel import work?
Download the Excel template from the players page, fill it with data and upload it. The system automatically recognizes columns and shows you a preview before importing.
Can I indicate players who don't want to play together?
Yes! In the player edit page there's a "Players to avoid" section. The team generation algorithm will take this into account.
What does the ⚠️ badge next to a player mean?
It indicates the player has incomplete data (e.g. imported quickly without level or side). You can complete the data by editing the player.
🏆 Tournaments
What's the difference between tournament types?
Giro Padel: Social format with fixed pairs, everyone plays everyone in rotation. Ideal for informal game nights.
Formula Rodeo: Individual standings! Partners change every round. Perfect for mixing levels and introducing new players.
Bracket: Classic single elimination (4, 8, 16, 32 teams).
Groups: Group phase with standings. Everyone faces each other in their group.
Groups + Bracket: First group phase, then the best advance to the final bracket.
Gold/Silver/Bronze: Group phase, then teams are divided into 3 brackets based on standings: Gold (first place), Silver (second), Bronze (third).
Champions: 4 skill tiers, single league (each team plays 1 match per tier), then knockout bracket. Home/away option available.
Can I edit a tournament after creating it?
Yes, you can edit name, date and organizational parameters. If you've already generated teams or groups, some options will be locked to avoid inconsistencies.
How does archiving work?
Archived tournaments are moved to a separate tab. You can always restore them. Archiving doesn't delete any data.
Can I print the bracket/groups?
Yes! Every tournament page has a "Print" button that generates a PDF optimized for A4 printing.
Can participants follow the tournament in real time?
Yes! On every tournament page (groups, bracket, giro padel, rodeo) you'll find the "📡 Share LIVE" button. It opens a QR code you can print or project, and a link to share on WhatsApp. Participants see standings, results and brackets updated automatically every 30 seconds, with no registration or login required.
How does the Champions format work?
The Champions format is inspired by the Champions League. Teams are divided into 4 skill tiers. Each team plays 4 matches (one per tier) in a single league. The overall standings determine who qualifies for the knockout bracket (quarter-finals, semi-finals, final). A home and away option (8 matches per team) is also available for multi-day tournaments. Tier assignment can be automatic (by level) or manual.
🤝 Teams and Pairings
How does automatic team generation work?
The algorithm considers:
Each player's preferred side (right/left/flexible)
If the player is left-handed (automatically goes to the right)
Indicated players to avoid
Level to create balanced teams
Why can a left-hander only play on the right?
In padel, left-handers typically play on the right to have their forehand in the center of the court. The system automatically applies this rule.
Can I create teams manually?
Yes! On the teams page you can both generate automatically and create teams by hand by selecting two players.
What happens if I have an odd number of players?
In Giro Padel and Formula Rodeo, one will rest each round. In brackets, BYEs are used (automatic advances to the next round).
Can I modify teams after generating them?
Yes, you can delete individual teams and recreate new ones, or regenerate everything from scratch.
📊 Results and Standings
How do I enter match results?
On the tournament page (groups/bracket/giro/rodeo), each match has fields to enter the score. Save to update standings and advance winners.
Do standings update automatically?
Yes! As soon as you save a result, the group standings or individual standings (Formula Rodeo) recalculates automatically.
In brackets, do winners advance automatically?
Yes, when you enter a match result, the winner is automatically placed in the next match.
🔐 Privacy and Data
Is my players' data safe?
Yes. We don't collect sensitive data (health, religion, orientation, etc.). Data is only accessible from your account and is not shared with third parties.
Can I export all my data?
